ACCESS ALUMNI'S SOCIETY OF PAKISTAN

I have to admit that Access was the life changing opportunity in my life. Access enthused me and provided a platform to express myself at bigger level. It gave me exposure to a global language which ultimately helped me to be an intellectual and such person with greater ability to understand and study the world. After those remarkable 2 years there are major personality changes in me and I am totally different and see myself as more confident, intellectual, social and better citizen. Joined Access when I was in matriculation, in such age where either you are groomed or you lose yourself. I had the gut to learn different things, but a platform wasn't available for me. So access played the role of that platform.  In the journey of almost 2 years, I came to know a lot of things, became social and learnt how to survive where people are gathered. I had been taught English which has  been helping me till now. I spent a very good time there, great people, brilliant students and the wonderful teachers. And, I would like to thank all the team who exposed us to this graceful opportunity. My heartfelt gratitude to every single one who contributed in bringing a thought to a reality. Access helped me able to improve my point of thinking, style and personality. It is only because of my exchange program experience that I have been the part of many national and some International events. It has provided me a large canvas to paint my life. It has also boosted my confidence level to the sky. It has developed the sense of responsibility in me. It has taught me to control my nerves in difficult moments and also taught me how to work with others as a team. I am able to stand and speak in front of people. Access has brought tremendous changes in my life.I have adopted so many things from access program.I gained confidence talent, tool of English language, leadership skills & how to serve community. I found glorious platform where I come to knew that that what I am? I am fully confident enough to talk everywhere. I got golden opportunity from Access program to participate in 12 Days Extensive "Pakis tan Access Leadership Institute" called (PALI) held from December 21,2015 to January 1, 2016 at Ramada Hotel Islamabad Pakistan this program was hosted by U.S. Embassy Islamabad. It has opened my spiritual eye which was ever hidden.after attending this institution. There is no doubt  #Access  makes leaders not followers. Access program inspired me a lot as it's not only about learning English and improving our language skills but it also helped me to boost my confidence, leadership and communication skills. During this program, I participated in many community services and got to know many amazing people. It really helped myself in grooming personality of mine as I still remember being a shy school girl but after graduating from this program, I became able to communicate much confidently I'm sure that access program is a turning point for those who get this opportunity like I had. I joined Access Islamabad back in 2010. The best thing about access were the teachers i had .Today if I'm a bit able to speak English is because of them. The first day was a horrible one for me as i wasn't much aware of what was going on around me . I used to think i would never be able to communicate with anyone in English but English Access Microscholarship program made my dream come true. The   most amazing days of life were in Margalla Hotel when i was selected for ASI (Access Summer Institute) a summer camp. I learned a lot of things there and it was a great experience to be there with the students selected from all over Pakistan's Access centers. Access gave me confidence, the confidence that I needed in all walks of life. I would just say Access program was the most amazing thing in my life and whatever i learned there is still helping me out in lots of fields. A ccess have been a support system for me always. I still remember those days when i used to hide behind the people because of the low confidence and grooming in my personality.  When i engaged myself with access, that was the turning point actually. I started doing community service on small platforms because of small resources. First Organization which i joined as a member was PUAN ( Pakistan-U.S.  Alumni Network ) which not only groomed me but also provided me the best platforms. I was awarded by the Small Grant project of Summer Camp by USEFP. I made myself involved with some of my local teams. I started working as a youth activist after attending International Youth Activism Conference. I started giving sessions to empower the girls of my area because my community is a bit conservative.
